The International physics Olympiad among school students will be held in Nazarbayev University from July 13 till July 21, 2014. It was announced during the CCS media briefing today.

“This year Astana gathered the record number of participants willing to take part in the 45th International Physics Olympiad. About 700 participants from 86 countries came to the capital city of Kazakhstan,” Minister of Education and Science of Kazakhstan Aslan Sarinzhipov said. According to him, the main purpose of organizing of this event is to reveal and develop the interest of school students in research work, create necessary conditions for supporting talented children and promote this sphere.

As the minister said, Kazakhstan will be presented at the Olympiad by Amir Bralin, the winner of multiple contests, Danat Issa, the holder of multiple medals from different contests, Dinmukhammed Nurbek, the winner of Olympiads and other contests, Nurislam Tursynbek, the holder of medals and awards from many contests he participated, Daulet Kurmantayev, also the winner and participant of many international and republican contest.
